Having conquered the Asian underworld, Don (Shah Rukh Khan) now has his sights set on European domination. In his way are the bosses of the existing European underworld and all law enforcement agencies. The action shifts from Kuala Lumpur to Berlin as Don must avoid assassination or arrest, whichever comes first, in order for his plan to succeed.
The cultural clash between traditional-orthodox-India and modern-urban-India. The collision of two cultures creates havoc in the beginning but finds a peaceful co-existence, at the end. An orthodox boy from the holy city of Banaras, is forced to stay with a chorus dancer in Bombay... The film does the journey of these two opposite personalities and how, after the initial phase of rejection, they find each others place in their respective lives.
Mini (Genelia D'Souza) is an educated, fun-loving young girl who is the daughter of rich businessman, Bhatti (Tinnu Anand). Bhatti wants to marry Mini off to a rich jaat, named Sunny. Sunny in turn sees Mini as someone who can help him go to Canada. But the feisty Mini, who loves life and adventure, will have none of that. Viren (Riteish Deshmukh), who drives Bhatti's rickshaw, is a simpleton with dreams of starting a travel agency with a fleet of cars for which he is painstakingly saving money. Bhatti sells off all his rickshaws one day with Viren's savings of Rs.60,000 in it. Egged on by his friends to drown his sorrows, Viren guzzles a few drinks and in a drunken stupor lands up at Bhatti's doorstep demanding his money back, while Mini's engagement is in progress. An argument ensues and Viren lays his hands on a pistol....
